WILLIAM MICHALUK It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather William Michaluk, with his family by his side on Tuesday, September 17, 2002. Bill will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his wife Eva, of 58 years; son James (Valentine) daughter Joyce (Bob Holland) and grandchildren Kurtis, Jordan, Shannon (Dave Pierce) and Scott; and one great-granddaughter Tegan. Bill was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Anna; and brother John. Bill was born on September 2, 1916, in the Interlake area, where he farmed until 1971 and then moved to Winnipeg. He was employed with the City of Winnipeg until his retirement. Bill was a member of St. John Ukrainian Catholic Church, where he served as an Elder for eight years. Bill never refused to give a helping hand wherever it was needed. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Prayers will be held on Friday, September 20 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, September 21 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Apostle Ukrainian Catholic Church, 31 Riel Ave., with Rev. Michael Krochak officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if so desired, donations may be made in Bills memory to a charity of ones choice. May the winds of love blow softly, And whisper for you to hear. We will always love and miss you, And wish that you were here. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
