DAVID (DAVIES) J.W. SHIMARO April 7, 1948 - September 15, 2002 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our father, son, uncle, grandfather, brother, Dave at the age of 54 on September 15, 2002. Dave leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Darcy Shimaro (Shawn, Alyshia, Brittney, Dylan Ward), Angie Johnston (Doug, Hayle) and son Michael Shimaro-Campbell; his mother Alice Shimaro; brothers, Robert (Lynne), Sam (Stephanie), James (girlfriend) his sisters, Dianne McCaskill (Gary) from British Columbia, Lucy Shimaro from British Columbia, Sonya Shimaro (boyfriend) many nieces and nephews and extended families. Special close friends, Victoria Shimaro-Rondeau, Judy Rondeau, Dennis Johnson, Gary (bear) Zeolkowski. Dave was predeceased by his love Darlene Campbell (June 12, 2000) father Samuel; and brother Norman. Dave was employed with New Flyer. Our father had a great liking to fishing and hunting with his buddies Dennis and Gary and son Michael and was an excellent painter. We would like to thank the staff at the St. Boniface Hospital on Floor 2 and 5B Wing for their support and kindness. Daddy God saw you getting tired, When a cure was not to be. So he closed his arms around you and whispered, "Come to Me." You didnt deserve what you went through, So he took you home to rest Gods garden must be beautiful, For he only takes the best. WE LOVE YOU DAD Darcy, Angie, Michael Services will be held at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St., on Monday, September 23 at 2:00 p.m., with viewing prior to the service. Cremation to follow.
