He leaves to mourn brothers and sisters-in-law, Albert, Shirley, Bernie, Betty, and Lillian Shukster; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dave, Shirley, Norman and Gertie Chochinov; and many numerous nieces and nephews. Harold was a gentle, honest, wise and hard working man. He had a successful upholstering business for 50 years. "The best upholster in town". He took great pride in his work. He enjoyed working with wood and creating a warm home for his family. He marvelled in architecture and history. His greatest pleasure was his childhood sweetheart, the love of his life, his wife Clarice and the family they created. We are grateful and thankful for the loving care and respect shown by our new friends, Jim, Rowena, Phyllis, Joy, Mohamed, Martha, Lynn, Sandy and numerous others. A special thank you to the St. Boniface Palliative Care Unit, and to Janet and the oncology staff at the Seven Oaks Hospital. Appreciation to Rabbi Rose and Cantor Daien. Funeral services were held on September 20 with military honours. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Sharon Home or a charity of your choice.
