ARLIENE JACKSON 1939 - 2002 Peacefully on Tuesday, September 17, 2002, Arliene passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her parents Lorraine and Ralph Houghton. Arliene is survived by her loving husband Pat of 44 years; sons, Pat (Cindy), Ralph (Darlene), Ron (Stephanie) grandchildren, Raena, Chelsea, Keegan, Ainsleigh; sister Gail Collison. Born and raised in Kenora, ON, Arliene eventually settled in Winnipeg to raise her family in St. Vital. Her career as a cashier began at Dominion store and continued at the Fermor Safeway store until her retirement. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends and bingo pals. The family wishes to thank the nurses and doctors at the Victoria Hospital and St. Boniface Palliative care unit for all their care and compassion. A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 23 at 11:30 a.m. at the St. Vital Cemetery, River Road.
