She was also president of the Sharon Home Residents Association. These organizations were very important to her and played an important part of her life. Dorothy was a very intelligent person with a sharp sense of humour. She loved being with people, especially her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. A graveside service was held on September 15 at the Shaarey Zedek Cemetery with Rabbi Henry Balser officiating. Pallbearers were Martin Billinkoff, David Segal, Jason Gordon, Jeff Gordon, Daniel Billinkoff and Devin Segal. The family would like to express their grateful appreciation to the staff at the Sharon Home, especially on the second and fourth floors. Thanks also to Dorothys companion Heddy who was a tremendous help in her last days. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Sharon Home North or to the charity of ones choice.
