Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryAVELINO T. BIE JR. Peacefully on Wednesday, September 18, 2002, Avelino T. Bie Jr., born in Macabebe, Pampanga, Phillippines, on November 15, 1946, passed away at the age of 55 at the Health Sciences Centre. Lito leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife Tita; and his children, Christine, Christian, and Christopher; mother Leodegaria; siblings, Mike (Darlene) Bie, Prosey (Pablo) Cruz, Nini (Bert) Santos, Renee Bie, Ress (Remy) Bie; nieces and nephews, Jason, Jeffrey, Joel, Janel, Mark, Amanda, Michael, Jessica, Karen, A.J., Sy-Sy, Alvin, and all of his relatives back in the Philippines. He was predeceased by his father Avelino Bie Sr. (2001) his brothers, Warlito (1993) and Ross (1994). He was a quiet but loving husband and father. When amongst friends he loved being in the spotlight. It would be hard not to laugh when he was around. He was a devout member of Couples for Christ since 1996. He easily made friends anywhere he went and will be missed by all those whose lives he had touched. Lamay will be held on Saturday, September 21 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., and Sunday, September 22 from 6:00 to 11:00 p.m. at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 24 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Edwards Roman Catholic Church with father Vic Tongol officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens (Garden of Prayer). The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nurses of the Health Science Centre who cared for Lito during his time of need and as well comforted the family. And to all the wonderful friends and relatives who showed in some way their support during this trying time. Lito, husband, father, son, uncle, friend will forever be remembered and cherished in all of our hearts. Well miss you so much and pray that you are at rest with God in His Kingdom.
