JULIA GERLE (CZEPIL)

JULIA GERLE (nee CZEPIL) 1904 - 2002 Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother died peacefully on September 19, 2002. She was predeceased by her much loved husband, Ben, who died at Watrous, SK in 1962; by her parents; one brother and three sisters. She is survived by her son Dan (Carol), their sons, Marc (Lynn), Paul and David; and by her daughter Chris (Don) Fleetwood, and their sons, Ian (Kim), Greg (Nicole) and Glenn; as well as three great-grandchildren, Erika, Avery and Matthew. She is also survived by her dear sister, Jean Hackett, and many nieces and nephews. Those who knew Julia will remember her warmth and generosity, and her marvellous sense of humour. The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to the staff at Park Manor Personal Care Home, who cared for her with love and compassion during the past eight and one-half years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Park Manor Personal Care Home, or a charity of choice. Funeral mass will be celebrated by Father Ed Bonin at Blessed Sacrament Parish, 425 Rosseau Ave. East, Transcona, at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 25, with a private family interment to follow at Watrous Cemetery. Transcona Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
