YVETTE HAMPTON (nee CHABOT) It is with great sadness, we announce the sudden passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt at the St. Boniface General Hospital on Friday, September 13, 2002 at the age of 69 years. Yvette leaves to mourn her beloved husband Robert of 46 years. Her two beautiful daughters, Karen Ewart (Stacy) and Cristal Marchak (Dale). Also left are her two precious grandsons, Cole (Karen and Stacy) and Zachary (Cristal and Dale). Brother Ray Chabot (Audrey) sister Roselle Tataryn (Walter) and sister Susan Chabot; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Yvette was predeceased by her father Albert, mother Madeleine and sister Jean. Yvette was born and raised in Winnipeg. She was employed in her early years at National School Studios (Jostens) and in her later years at Sears jewellery department until her retirement. Mom enjoyed many great summers at the cottage with her family as well as taking many wonderful trips with her husband and daughters. Her greatest joy in life was the arrival of her grandsons, Cole and Zachary. They brought so much joy to her life and she was so very proud to be called Grandma. Mom, we will never forget your great smile and your zest for life. You were such an inspiration to many, but especially to your husband and daughters. Thank you for being the best wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend anyone could ask for. You will be truly missed by all. We will love you forever. Special thanks to Shauna Gerrard at the MICU at St. Boniface Hospital, your compassion and understanding will never be forgotten. Respecting moms wishes, cremation has taken place and a private service was held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Arthritis Society, 105-386 Broadway Ave., Winnipeg, MB.
