DANIEL FREDRICK HOURIE May 22, 1951 - September 19, 2002 We sadly announce the passing of our dear brother, Daniel Fredrick Hourie, of Fairford First Nation, on September 19, 2002 at the age of 51 years. Daniel leaves to mourn, his son Allan; brothers, Roy (Frieda), Fred (Gertrude), Harold (Esther), Alvin, and Ken; sisters, Mildred, Lorna (Claude) Paquette, Phyllis (Henry) Beauchamp, and Eileen (Lawrence) Sinclair; also nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Daniel was predeceased by parents, Irene Lily and Edwin Douglas Hourie; brothers, Allan and Marvin; grandparents, Margaret and Peter Sumner, Daisy and Albert Hourie. The family would like to express their thanks to the staff of the Ashern Personal Care Home for their care and kindness given to Daniel. Meegwetch Prayer service will be held on Sunday, September 22, at 7:00 p.m. at the Anderson Family Funeral Home, #9 Railway Ave., Ashern, MB. Requiem Mass will be held on Monday, September 23 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Helens Anglican Church, Fairford, MB with Rev. Canon Ron McCullough officiating. Interment will follow at the St. Helens Anglican Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Selwyn Sanderson, Nelson Sanderson, Ronald Nordal, Alan Letandre, Gary Sumner and Thomas Saunders.
