Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSEPHINE CHAMBERS After a brief illness, Josephine Chambers, born April 29, 1927, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 18, 2002, at Dauphin Regional Health Centre. At her bedside was her beloved husband Harry, her daughter Cathy and son-in-law Chris Novak. Josie is lovingly remembered and survived by her daughter Jo-Ann (John Sublett) sons, Bob (Mary) and John (Julie) grandchildren, Michael Glavin (Debby), Cori, Bob and Matthew Syrnyk, Laura and David Chambers, Harrison and Christopher Chambers and great-grandchildren Hannah and Sam Glavin. Josie leaves two sisters, Vicky Shymanski and Helen Rogoski, both of Winnipeg. Josephine was predeceased by her son David in 1953; her father Stanley Serszen in 1946 and her mother Joan in 1959. Josephine was defined by her unfettered devotion to her husband of 57 years. She had an immense love of children and was a caring, loving aunt to her nieces and nephews. Josie was active in her community of East Kildonan and was known by her sweet, unique character. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered. Her spirit will live on in our hearts. The family held a private memorial service in Dauphin in the celebration of Mothers life. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Josephine Chambers may be made to the Dauphin Hospital Foundation, 625 -3rd St., SW, Dauphin, MB, R7N 1R7. Acknowledgements of donations will be sent to the family. Happy trails Mother dear.
