Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPATRICIA CLAIRE EMELDA SHANNON October 11, 1921 - September 20, 2002 With deep sadness we announce that with loving family by her side, the peaceful passing of our beloved Auntie Pat. Patricia was predeceased by her parents, Matilda and John Shannon; her beloved brother John; and her dear sister-in-law Pauline. Auntie Pat has given years of cherished memories to her three nephews and their families, Kelly (Karen), Kaylee, Zandra, Chris, Laina, Keighlon, Tim (Nadine), Corey, Roxanne, Marc (Rita), Patrick and John-Paul. Patricia loved the life and character of downtown and spent most of her life living her family home on Langside. Pat was a dedicated employee of Holt Renfrew for over 40 years and was loved and adored by staff and customers alike. Pat spent many years volunteering for charity work in the downtown area and was very proud of her contributions. Although Auntie Pat had no children of her own, she had a mothers love and kind thoughts for everyone she knew. We are overwhelmed and eternally grateful for the love and support Pat always had for her family. Patricia will be fondly remembered and sadly missed. See ya later kiddo. Prayers will be held on Monday, September 23 at 7:00 p.m. in the Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 24 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Marys Cathedral, 353 St. Mary Ave. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Franciscan Friars, 211 Edmonton St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 1R4.
