MARY KAPROWY Peacefully, on Sunday, September 22, 2002, Mary Kaprowy passed away at the Riverview Health Centre at the age of 84. She was predeceased by two sisters and three brothers. Mary will be lovingly remembered by her husband Joseph; son Rick (Judy) grandson Geoff; granddaughter Kerri (Jason) Guralnick; two great-grandsons, Joshua and Seth. She is also survived by four sisters, three brothers and many nieces and nephews. Mary and Joseph were co-owners of Butterfly Tailors. They cherished their connections with their customers who became lifelong friends. They not only worked hard, but also took time to enjoy life with family and friends. Mary had a loving, strong relationship with her two grandchildren, going fishing, helping them sew their creations, and teaching them to love life to the fullest. She will be deeply missed and her memory will be cherished. The family wish to thank Shirley, Marys Home Care worker, and the staff at Riverview Health Centre, especially the nurses on 2 West, for their kindness and loving care. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, September 25 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Glen Eden Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to Kidney Foundation of Canada, 200 - 55 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 1L8.
