Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGLADYS LOFVENDAHL February 9, 1917 - September 20, 2002 In the early morning hours of Friday, September 20, 2002, Gladys Lofvendahl passed away peacefully at the Riverview Health Centre. Gladys was 85 years of age. She is survived by her daughter Barbara and son-in-law George Matheson of Drayton Valley, AB; granddaughter Margo and husband Ryan Arndt and great-granddaughter Hannah Grace of Wainwright, AB. She is also survived by her sisters, Rose Enders and Kay Tchir of Winnipeg; and brothers, Stan Kosman of Oliver, BC, and Joe Kosman of Burbank, CA. Gladys was predeceased by her parents Peter and Rose Kosman, her husband Charlie and her brother Peter Kosman. Gladys lived her entire life in the East Kildonan and Elmwood areas. She enjoyed being a housewife, playing bingo, doing crossword puzzles and travelling, especially to her favourite place, Hawaii. No service will be held at Gladys request. If you would like to meet with the family, a reception will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25 at the Royal Canadian Legion - Elmwood Branch #9, 920 Nairn Ave. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Riverview Health Centre or CancerCare Manitoba.
