Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRANDY (RANDALL) WAYNE ZALUSKY It is with great sadness that the family announces the untimely passing of our beloved son, brother, uncle, great-uncle and friend. Randy was born October 26, 1965 and passed away on September 22, 2002 at the age of 36. Randy resided in Libau, MB. He graduated from high school and furthered his education in electronics. Randy served for several years at the DEW Line in Northern Canada. He then was employed at Supra Steel for eight years before going on to serve his electrical apprenticeship with Gateway Electric. In January 2001, he graduated with an Electrical Journeyman Certificate. From this he proceeded to establish his own business, RANDYZ ELECTRIC, which he took pride in until his passing. Randy enjoyed travelling at home as well as abroad, especially his six-month trip to Australia and New Zealand where he even sheared sheep on the other side of the world. He also enjoyed watching movies, good food, visiting with family and friends and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Randy was predeceased by his mother Marie; his grandparents, Anne and Alex Pruden, Katie and Steve Zalusky. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his father Walter; brothers and sisters, Don (Joyce), Ron (Lillian), Gerry (Doreen), Sharon Lucek, Brian, Janette (Scott) Zalusky; nieces and nephews, Angela (Richard) King, Dion (Michelle), Trevor and Jackie Lucek, Kevin and Darren Zalusky, Tracy, Clinton and Ory Zalusky; great-nieces, Holly King and Kaylee Lucek; as well as numerous relatives and friends, especially Gerd and Gunther Ponzilius and their families, and Keith Whitelam. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Friday, September 27 at 7:00 p.m. at Gilbarts Funeral Home, Selkirk, MB, with Rev. W. Cwieka officiating. Interment of ashes will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your own choice. Randys family would like to thank all their family and friends for all the support during this difficult time. REST IN PEACE Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
