IRENE C. JOHNS Irene passed away peacefully at St. Boniface Hospital on Friday, September 20, 2002 after a lengthy illness. She had celebrated her 75th birthday on September 16. Irene was born and raised in Winnipeg. She worked at Shop Easy early in her career. Later she worked at Beatrice Dairies for many years before her retirement in 1992. She was predeceased by her brothers, Frank and Namer Johns; and sisters, Libby Hughes and Rose Kolish. She is survived by her sisters, Margaret Johns and Louise Hogue. The family wishes to thank Dr. P. Montgomery and the nurses and staff on 4E at the St. Boniface. Irene was cremated and a private family service has been held.
