EMMA SCHLIPPERT After a brief illness, Emma Schlippert passed on to eternal life on September 24, 2002. Emma was born in Winnipeg on December 15, 1905. She was predeceased by her loving husband Ernie, in November 1997 and daughter Trudy in 2002. She leaves to mourn her passing her son Arnie (Marlene) Schlippert; son-in-law Jack Streilein; grandchildren, Richard (Janis) Streilein, Rob (Sylvia) Streilein, Gary Streilein, Grant (Ferol) Streilein, Melanie (Gary) Babiuk, Carolyn Schlippert (Rich) and 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Emma lived a Christian life, had a wonderful sense of humour and an exceedingly sharp mind despite her age. Ernie and Emma moved to Kirchhoff Gardens on 1989, enjoying many new friends. Emma participated in the bible study groups, at times surprising the group with her knowledge of the scriptures. She continued to amaze family and friends with her memory of dates of anniversaries and birthdays. "We will miss you, Ma!" A memorial service will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, 1311 Dakota St., Winnipeg, on Friday, September 27 at 2:00 p.m. If friends so desire, donations in Emmas memory may be made to Faith Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or a charity of your choice. The family wishes to thank Ogle and Elsie Smeal for their continual support, and to Dr. Roy Smith and the staff at Victoria General Hospital for the care they gave her. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200
