FERNE MYRTLE KENDALL (nee MILNE) Ferne Kendall, loving mother, loving friend and giving person, passed away from this world graciously and peacefully on Thursday, September 19, 2002 in the St. Boniface Palliative Care Unit. She will remain a vital and special part of so many lives and will be joyously remembered and painfully missed. Our mothers memory lives on in us, her two sons, Kris and Greg; her mother and father, Alex and Myrtle; her siblings, Jim, Ann and Judy and their families; her in-laws, Ray and Dorothy; and her partner Dennis, to whom we give our love and great respect for the love and care he provided during her final time. Mom is also cherished by her many, many more friends, relatives and her CIBC family. A funeral service to grieve the loss, honour the life and add to the memory of our beautiful mother and friend Ferne was held on Tuesday, September 24 at 2:00 p.m. in the Deer Lodge United Church, 2093 Portage Ave. at Belvidere Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Fernes memory to CancerCare, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3E 0V9 or to the St. Boniface General Hospital Palliative Care Unit, 409 Tache, Winnipeg, MB, R2H 2A6.
