Alice was born on November 21, 1928 at Crane River, MB. She attended school in Crane River and lived most of her life there. She married James Moar (Jimmy Goose) on February 17, 1947 at Toutes Aides, MB. Alice was a devoted wife, mother, grand and great-grandmother. She was lovingly called Koko by her great-grandchildren. Alice and James moved to Dauphin, MB in 1986 and later moved to The Pas in 1994. Alice became active with The Pas Golden Agers playing crib Monday afternoons and whist on Thursday afternoons. Tuesday evening she played floor shuffleboard at Valhalla Residence where she and husband James lived. Alice loved to play bingo and card games. Alice loved to have her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren Moar visit. The more often the better. She also liked to shop. She kept her two daughters, Bev and Dorothy busy driving her to the various stores in town. Another favourite thing for Alice was to watch her son Ron race his ponies at chuckwagon races. She would travel as much as possible to attend these races. She would get so excited cheering for him to win. She really looked forward to her daily telephone conversations with her youngest daughter Judy. Alice was predeceased by her husband James; two daughters, Eileen and Marie; parents, Adelard and Evelyn Dumas; son-in-law Jack Peterson; one grandson Ronald Jr.; one sister Laverne Morrisseau; one brother Lorne Dumas. She leaves to mourn one son Ron (Elsie) three daughters, Dorothy Peterson, Bev (Orville Morrisseau), Judy (Robert Bignell) 17 grandchildren; and 41 great grandchildren.
