JESSIE ISABELLA HART On Friday, September 20, 2002, Jessie Isabella Hart died at Meadowood Manor, at the age of 102 years. She was our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and for 65 years was a loving wife to Hugh Hart (1897 to 1994). Jessie was a kind and caring person. She was blessed with a strength of character that enabled her to meet lifes challenges with purpose and resilience. Throughout her life she had an inquiring mind and a keen interest in the world around her. Jessie was born in London, England. She was a nurse at Ancoats Hospital in Manchester before immigrating to Canada in 1928 to marry Hugh. They lived in St. Vital where they raised a family and enjoyed many lasting friendships. Jessie is lovingly remembered by her three children, Doreen and husband Mack Murray of Oakville, June and husband Jerry Trueman of Winnipeg, Graham and wife Elecia Hart of Vancouver; her grandchildren, Tannis and David Young, Lisa and Jim deWilde, Keith and Rhonda Murray, Barbara and Bill Dryden, Alix and Tom Box, Ceri Hart-Smith and Robert Smith, Janine and Jeff Sherman, Jennifer Murray, Jason Hart, and Geoffrey and Rebecca Gwyn Trueman; and 16 great-grandchildren. The family would like to especially thank the staff of Meadowood Manor for their warm and caring ways over the last seven years.
