She leaves to mourn and cherish her memory her daughter Elizabeth (Bunny), son Lorne (Jeanette) all of Winnipeg, a brother Carl (Gladys) Schindel of Dugald, sister Louise (Jack) Hadaller of Glass, her grandson Adam Hiebert of British Columbia and many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. Mom was born in Saskatchewan to Emanuel and May Schindel, moving to Manitoba with her parents in 1925. She attended school in Winnipeg until 1935, when her family moved to Dugald. Here, she later met and married Abram Hiebert in October 1943. Mom and Dad made their home in Glass, where they raised their family. Following Dads sudden passing in 1957, Mom returned to Winnipeg to make a home for her children. Mom lived her whole life for her children. She was a wonderful homebody who loved cooking, crocheting, knitting and sewing. An avid and long-time Blue Bomber fan, Mom also took great delight in family get-togethers and loved to travel.
