BERTHA SEMANS Bertha Semans, 85, passed away in Palm Springs, CA, September 22, 2002. She was born to Sarah and George Vint in Belfast, Ireland. She moved to Winnipeg when her family relocated in 1920 and lived there till 1980 when she moved to Palm Springs, CA. She married Walter John Semans in Winnipeg in 1948 and was a homemaker. Bertha is survived by her niece Arlyn Rudolph, Palm Springs, nephew Rob Pitcher, wife Linda. Grandnephews, Randy Hewitson, wife Esther, Greg Hewitson, wife Brita, of Palm Springs, Keith Hewitson of Upland; and many great-grandnieces and nephews in Palm Springs, Upland and Canada. She was predeceased by husband John in 1998, son Terry, September 7, 2002, brother Robert Vint, sister Rita and brother-in law Mark Pitcher. The family thanks Odessy Care Services. Palm Springs Mortuary are handling the arrangements. Services will be private.
