CHRISTINE JULIA (TINY) FOWLIE Peacefully on Saturday, September 21, 2002 at Northcrest Care Centre, Delta, BC. Born January 6, 1924 in Halifax she was the daughter of Melvinia and Arthur Munro, sister to Melvinia, Mildred, Basil, Art, Jennie, Betty, Pat, and Bobby. She will be greatly mourned by her husband of 56 years William (Bill) and four children, William (Nancy), Donald (Beverley), Robert (Vivian), and Carol (Donald), eight grandchildren, mother-in-law Janet, and many other relatives and friends. She met the love of her life Bill, while serving overseas during the Second World War. They were married in Halifax and settled in Winnipeg where they raised the family. She was an accomplished teacher and artist of ceramics. Her needlepoints grace many of our walls. After retirement, Bill and Tiny moved to Aldergrove and then Langley. With many projects still on the go Alzheimers crept into her life. The family is immensely grateful for all the help we received and the comfort that surrounded Tiny.
