BEN GRUSHKO Passed away peacefully on Friday, September 27, 2002, at the age of 73. Ben will be remembered with love by his wife of 48 years, Ann; children, Terry and Marty Hornstein and Saralee Grushko; his dear granddaughters, Ariel and Carli; sisters and brother-in-law, Zelda Bressler, Lil and Morley Slonim. He was predeceased by his parents, Rose and Velvel Grushko; mother and father-in-law, Sal and Allan Brownstone; his sister Beatrice Kravetsky and brothers-in-law, Cecil Kravetsky, Israel Bressler and Warren Brownstone. Ben worked at Malchy Grain Company for 55 years. He was a Mason and was proudly raised to the position of District Deputy Grand Master of Manitoba. He will be sorely missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, who each held him in a special place in their heart. Active pallbearers were Bens nephews, Abe and David Borzykowski, Murray Kravetsky, Brian Gertenstein, Bernie Bressler and Neil Schwartzman. Honorary pallbearers were Morley Slonim, Sid Schwartzman, Morley Chess, Artie Frankel and Earl Robinson. Contributions may be made to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation or a charity of your choice.
