Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMILLICENT E. IBEY With deep sadness we wish to announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and friend at Ste. Anne Hospital on Thursday, September 26, 2002. She battled long, hard years of pain due to various health problems and is now at rest. Feisty to the end. Millie was predeceased by her first husband Neil; her son Les; and brothers, Bob and Fred. She leaves behind her two daughters, Brenda of Winnipeg and Samantha (Bruce) of Ste. Anne, MB; her sister Doreen and family of Winnipeg; 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. A special fondness for her granddaughter Lynn and her family of Ontario who were always caring; her grandson Lon, who had the spark she loved and her grandson Shawn who was always big hearted. Millie had a long career life with many accomplishments, always worked hard and touched a lot of lives along the way, teaching and sharing a part of her generous nature. If she could write this she would like mentioned and remembered with many, many thank yous, her closest friend Wilburt. Also to her friends over the years, a thank you for being there. A special thank you to Colleen of Ontario, all health care staff from Winnipeg and Ste. Anne, home care workers, you know who you are. A special thank you also to Terry of Birds Hill area and Diane of Ste. Anne for making the last couple of years as happy and comfortable as possible. A special mention to Dr. Gobeil, whom she liked. I would say my Mom taught me to love big, live every moment, work for what you need and want, but dont forget to laugh, play, dream and smell every flower you can. Our family is honouring our Moms wishes and there will be no service. Raise your glass or coffee cup to a great lady who will surely be sadly missed. Give your loved ones a big hug.
