ANNA KISZ (nee KONOPKA) Peacefully, on Sunday, September 29, 2002, Anna, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away at Holy Family Nursing Home. She was predeceased by her loving husband Andrew and her daughter Rose Abramowicz and grandson Peter Frankowski. Anna leaves to mourn her son Joe (Ella) Frankowski; daughter Angela (Adam) Andrzejczak; grandchildren, Roman (Monika), Richard (Melody), Richard and wife, Christine and Teresa; great-grandchildren, Suzanne (David), Diana (Shaun) and Jordan. Anna, who was born in Poland in 1910, survived two world wars. In the first war she lost her father and was badly wounded. In the second war she lost her first husband Peter Frankowski. In 1963 she came to Canada sponsored by her youngest daughter Angela and Adam. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. The family would like to thank the doctor and staff at Holy Family Nursing Home. Special thanks to Sister Monika and Fr. Kazimierz for prayers. And God bless all those who where supportive of her during her illness. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, October 2 at 6:00 p.m., at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 3 at 10:00 a.m., at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave., with Rev. Fr. Anthony Degutis, O.M.I. officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery. To love a Mom and then to part, Is the greatest trial to the human heart.
