Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNE SIBINSKI (nee CHREPTYK) Peacefully on September 29, 2002 Anne Sibinski passed away at the Tudor Home, Selkirk, at the age of 101 years. Anne was predeceased by her husband Harry; two daughters, Florence Yandt and Harriet Campbell; son-in-law Basil Yandt; and daughter-in-law Mary Sibinski; as well as her parents and siblings. Anne will be dearly missed by her loving family left to celebrate her joyous life, son Victor; sister Olga Drohomereski; grandchildren, Roy (Kathy) Yandt of Peterborough, ON, Barry (Debbie) of Peterborough, Marilyn Anderson of Vancouver, BC, Garry (Teena) Campbell of Ft. McMurray, AB and Wendy (Harvey) Kornberg of Minneapolis, MB; five great-grandchildren, Julie Yandt, Kyle Yandt, Katie Anderson, Cori Campbell and Kelsey Campbell. Anne was also blessed with several nieces and nephews who always remained a vital part of her life. Anne was born in Pleasant Home and lived in this area of the Interlake Region most of her life. She married Harry Sibinski in 1917 and cherished their three children, Florence, Victor and Harriet. After moving to Ochre River in the early 1930s, they moved to Dauphin, Souris and then returned to Winnipeg Beach. This is where Anne remained for the remainder of her life. Annes incredible love continually showed all who knew her that family is the most precious gift of life. She loved all family get-togethers and cherished the children, laughter and the card playing. Anne was a beautiful lady in the truest sense and her determination, strength and devotion shall continue to inspire those left to remember and celebrate her joyous life. Our family extends special thanks to the staff of Home Care Services and Johnson Memorial Hospital in Gimli and the Tudor House Personal Care Home in Selkirk for their loving care of our mother and grandmother. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to do so may make a donation in Annes memory to the Johnson Memorial Hospital, Box 250, Gimli, MB R0C 1B0. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 3 at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, Winnipeg Beach. Interment to follow in the St. Michaels Cemetery.
