She is survived by daughter Barbara and son-in-law Stan Jonasson. Mum fulfilled her life long dream with graduating from The Winnipeg General Hospital as a registered nurse in 1932. She worked at the Margaret Scott Mission caring for people in their homes until she married Ernie Tully in 1935, and moved to the farm. She continued her nursing skills in the community along with raising their two children. She was life member of the A.C.W. and served on many boards. She played the organ at St. Lukes Poplar Heights Church until it was moved to the Woodlands Museum, and then continued playing at times for St. Georges Anglican Church in Woodlands. She played for numerous weddings, funerals and school and community functions well into her 80s. She was also one of the founding members of the Poplar Heights 4H Swine Club, and served as leader for many years. When Barrie and Barbara were grown her career took another turn. She became a Social Worker with Health and Family Services in Portage La Prairie until her retirement. She loved her work, considering being paid as a bonus. Mum and Dad had several memorable trips with their special friends Allan and Fanny Graham of Binscarth. Mum and "Auntie" Fanny trained together and were life long friends until her passing in June 2001. Mum had a very full and rewarding life and remained a caregiver always. We would like to thank the Home Care Office and girls who provided such wonderful care before she moved to Winnipeg, especially Janis Jones who remained a faithful visitor in her new home. Special thanks to management staff at Golden West for the professional and loving care and support over the past 18 months to Mum and us. Funeral service will be held at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel in Stonewall on Wednesday, October 2 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. S. Sharman to officiate. A private family burial will take place later at Chapel Lawn.
