BERTHA JOY COOK Bertha Joy Cook was called home to be with her Lord on Saturday, September 28, 2002 at the age of 85 years. Bertha was predeceased by her husband Rev. Ralph Hall Cook in 1993. She will be lovingly remembered by her family, sons, Bill (Carol) of Port Alberni, BC, Ken (Val) of Port Coquitlam, BC; and daughters, Sharon (Gord) Gibbs of Whitehorse, YT and Margaret (Steve) Komaransky of Winnipeg, MB; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Berthas God-given gifts and talents in singing and writing were and still are a blessing to many. She spent many years in the ministry and she touched many lives over the years. Funeral services will be held in Kelowna, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements have been made with Bethel Funeral Chapel Ltd. (250-542-1187).
