She married Dad (Jim Tyler) on January 21, 1935 and led a life of love and happiness. Emily worked for MTS for 15 years and retired in 1980 and stayed in Winnipeg. She made many friends at MTS and loved "Mall Walking" at Polo Park and made numerous friends while volunteering her time with many activities for MSOS. She loved to travel and especially liked to go to Grand Forks for a day trip. Mom loved to listen to music and was a great sports fan. She loved to go to see the Bombers and spent many New Years Eves at the Winnipeg Arena watching the Winnipeg Jets play. Her favourites were the play off games we all went to. Emily was a great Mom and friend and she will be missed by all of us who had the pleasure of knowing her. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 5 at St. Barnabas Anglican Parish at 730 McPhillips St. The Rev. John Holmen officiating.
