MIKE DOLINSKI September 25, 1909- September 30, 2002 With heavy hearts, the family sadly announces the passing of Mike Dolinski, aged 93 years, on Monday, September 30, 2002. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Joe (Elfi), Elsie and Mary; his grandchildren, Brenda, Daryl (their mother Marcy), Tammy, Dean and Lisa; his two great-grandchildren, Jason and Karmyn; his sister Jean; brother John (Alice) and sister-in-law Mackie. Mike was predeceased by his wife Annie; granddaughter Colleen; parents, Antonina and Joseph; sister Helen (Mike) brothers, Kasmer and Frank (Delilah). Mike was born in Poland on September 25, 1909. He came to Canada at a young age with his family, settling in Southern Manitoba. Mike resided in Stuartburn, MB with his wife and children where he farmed until his retirement. He then made Transcona his home until his passing. Mike loved sitting around the kitchen table sharing stories with friends and family. He also took pride planting and tending to his garden faithfully every summer. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the emergency room staff at the St. Boniface Hospital and the attending ambulance drivers and fire department. Prayers will be held on Thursday, October 3 at 7:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Highway No. 1 East at Navin Road with funeral service on Friday, October 4 at 10:00 a.m., also at Green Acres, with Fr. Michael Kouts presiding. Interment will follow in Transcona Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Frank Devenney, Terry Dolinski, Eugene Gerbasi, Joe Remus, Bob Stefanchuk and Bill Stewart.
