MICHAEL SCOTT It is with great sadness that the family of Michael Scott announces his sudden passing on October 4, 2002 at the age of 78. Michael is survived by his sons, David (Joyce), Robert (Jo-Ann), Edward (Raylene), and Richard (Karen). He is also survived by his loving wife Evelyn, son Fred (Marcia), and daughters, Sandra and Marilyn. Grandchildren, Jamie (Shannon), Riley, Andrea, Melissa, Kathy (Ron), Paul, Bill (Ana Maria), Heather (Fred), Dawn (Derek), Jennifer (Jason), Jeff, and Adrien. Great-grandchildren, Robert, Alanna, Vanessa, Kaitlyn, Christian, Tyreese, and Landen, along with many nieces and nephews. Michael was predeceased by his first wife Melba in 1976. Also mourning Michaels loss are his sisters, Mary, Olga (Joe), and Lydia (Les) of Thunder Bay, ON. Michael worked for over 30 years at the Salvation Army Mens Hostel as Co-ordinator and will be greatly missed by the staff as well as the congregation and staff of the Salvation Army New Heights Church. Cremation has already taken place and a memorial service will be held on Monday, October 7 at 1:00 p.m. at Thomson Funeral Chapel, 669 Broadway, Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Michaels memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 2B7 or Salvation Army New Heights Church, in care of 118 Sherburn St., Winnipeg, R3G 2K4.
