Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPATRICK "WOODY" WILLIAM WILLIAMS Passed away suddenly at his home in Winnipeg, MB, September 27, 2002 at the age of 63 years. "Woody was predeceased by his mother Patricia in 1956, his father Frank in 1962, his beloved wife Lorraine in 1999, grandparents, and several aunt and uncles. He will be lovingly remembered by his stepchildren, George (Mary), Joseph (Rena), Cheryl (Brad) sisters, Isobel (Bill), Valerie (Anthony) his loving aunt Winnie; nephews, Barry, Brian, Bradley; nieces, Sylvia, Nicole; and several grandnieces and nephews, grandchildren, cousins, and dear friends. "Woody" was born August 12, 1939, in Sioux Lookout, ON. He lived and went to school in Ear Falls, ON, where he worked for Chukuni Lumber and ran Little Canada Lodge. He took great enjoyment and excelled at hunting, trapping, and fishing. In the late 1970s, "Woody" moved to Kenora, ON where he worked for several years with the Job Creation and Development Branch. He married Lorraine Smith on August 6, 1996 and he and his beloved "bear" moved to Winnipeg, MB in the late 1990s. Woody will be deeply missed by his family and many friends. He was a quiet man of few words but his presence and his strength touched the lives of all those who knew him. In accordance with "Woodys" wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in Ear Falls, ON on Friday, October 4 at St. Pauls Anglican Church at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Audrey Hazelwood officiating. Interment to follow in the Ear Falls Cemetery.
