EVELYN VICTORIA McMILLAN On Wednesday, October 2, 2002, Evelyn Victoria McMillan, the beloved wife of Alex, passed away at the Concordia General Hospital at the age of 84 years. In addition to her husband of 61 years, Evelyn will be sadly missed by her four daughters, Gail Green (Dick), of BC, their sons, Donald and Michael; Doreen Dubois (Hector), of BC, and Doreens son, David and daughters, Dineen and Darcy; Joan Turk (Gary), of Winnipeg, and their daughter Kelly; Marlene Pearson (Bob), of BC, and their sons, Robbie and Glen; and one son, Ross McMillan of Winnipeg. She is also survived by her two great-grandsons, Max and Logan. Evelyn spent most of her life caring for her husband and family. She was a member of John Black Memorial United Church and the Concordia Club. She also enjoyed playing Bingo and cards with friends from the social club in her apartment building. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, October 7 at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Highway. A reception will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Society, 105-386 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 3R6. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
