DAVID JOHN ZWARICH July 4, 1950 - September 30, 2002 It is with great sadness that the family of Dave Zwarich announces his sudden passing. Dave was predeceased by his father William Zwarich; and father and mother-in-law, Mike and Mary Dyrkacz. Mourning his loss are his loving wife of 31 years Donna; daughters, Trina (Martin) of Bermuda, Dena (Keith) Oster of Ottawa; his mother Nellie Zwarich of Winnipeg; brothers, Garry (Vi) of Winnipeg, Gord of Niagara Falls; sisters, Diane (Garry) Gabriel and Sandra (Al) Jira of Winnipegosis, Shirley (Paul) Burdz, Margaret (Martin) Bidzinski, and Gloria Zwarich of Winnipeg; sisters-in-law, Lillian (John) Lee of Toronto, Elsie (Stan) Reid of The Pas; and numerous nieces and nephews. Dave will be sadly missed by his special friends, Orest and Marge Fedorchuck; Stan and Evelyn Evenson; Helen Skwarek; and his loving canine companions, Bandit and Keira. Dave touched the lives of all those he knew, especially his staff, customers and suppliers that he met through his 18 years of managing the Red River Co-op Gas Station on Regent Avenue. Everyone who knew Dave can attest to his willingness to help others, hard work ethic and the ability to make the most of everything he had. He was full of life and energy, and always wore his heart on his sleeve. Memorial service will take place on Saturday, October 5 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Josephs Ukrainian Catholic Church, 250 Jefferson Ave. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Josephs Ukrainian Catholic Church, 250 Jefferson Ave., Winnipeg, R2V 0M6 or a charity of choice. When I must leave you for a little while, Please do not grieve, or shed sad tears, Dont hug your sorrow to you through the years. But start out bravely with a gallant smile, And for my sake and in my name, Live on and do all things the same. Fill each waking hour in useful ways, Reach out your hand in comfort and in cheer, And I in turn, will comfort you, And hold you near. And never, never be afraid to die, For I am waiting for you in the sky. This life for me is truly past, Ive loved you all to the very last, Weep not for me, but courage take, And love one another for my sake. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
