MABEL VALDIS CHRISTIE BA (University of Manitoba), MA (University of Toronto) Passed away peacefully, at North York Seniors Health Centre, Toronto, on Sunday, September 29, 2002. Dear sister of Jean Elizabeth Perry. She will be greatly missed by her nephews, Bob (Cathy) and Don (Simone) and her great-nieces and nephews, Chrissy, Rob, Katy, Jen, Andrew, Mike and Heather. Mabel enjoyed a busy teaching career and spent many happy years at St. Johns in Winnipeg. She was a talented painter who loved art, books and most especially sharing time with her family. A private service to celebrate Mabels life was held on Friday, October 4 with interment following at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
