Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFREDERICK DAVID COUSINS Fred Cousins, aged 73 years, much beloved husband of Vivian of Bissett, MB, and dear father of Connie (Patricia), David (Jeannette), Roger (Irena) and Glenn (Monica) grandfather of Scott, Jana, Richard, Colleen, Alexia, Zachary and Maxwell, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 2, 2002 at his residence. He is also survived by his sisters, Jo Humphrey of Thunder Bay, ON, Emilie Martin of Merrickville, ON, Jean Rawlings of Victoria, BC, Marie Law of Waterloo, ON, Carol Vinni of Thunder Bay, ON, and his brother Earl Cousins of Quesnel, BC. He was predeceased by his parents Mabel and Fred Cousins and his brother Gerry. Fred worked as a machinist and in mechanical maintenance in various mines across Canada. He was very community minded. He served as a councillor for the Town of Bissett, was on the Advisory Council to Pine Falls Paper and was involved with the Model Forest for many years. He was also a volunteer fireman in many of the communities in which he lived. Fred was an ardent fisherman and camper. He loved the land and the bounty of the land. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 6 at 2:00 p.m. in the Bissett Community Centre, Bissett with Rev. Peter Cain officiating. In lieu of flowers, if family and friends so desire, donations in Freds memory may be made to the Canadian Institute for the Blind, 1080 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3G 9Z9.
