ADA MARGURITE FREEMAN February 2, 1937 - October 2, 2002 It is with great sadness that the Perreault family announces the sudden passing of Ada, peacefully on October 2 at Victoria General Hospital. Ada was predeceased by her parents, Bertha and Harry Freeman; nieces, Patricia and Margaret; and great-niece Kyla. She is survived by her loving sister May (Ulderic) and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and their families. In the eyes of her nieces and nephews she was like a second mom. She gave freely of her spare time to various self-help groups. A lifelong resident of Winnipeg, Ada was employed with the Royal Insurance Company for many years until it reorganized. Rather than relocate, Ada chose to stay in Winnipeg with her family and started a second career with the provincial government, where she stayed until her retirement. An avid sports fan, Ada was a lifelong supporter of the Blue Bombers and Montreal Canadiens. She enjoyed the little side bets she made with family members, and win, lose, or draw, it didnt really matter, especially if she was collecting from Ulderic. Ada was a warm and loving person who will be fondly remembered by all. In lieu of flowers, if so desired, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 8 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. with viewing one hour prior. Interment at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN EDEN FUNERAL HOME 4477 MAIN STREET 338-7111
