KENNETH THOMAS MUIR On Tuesday, October 1, 2002, Ken passed away peacefully at home with his family at his side, at the age of 52 years. He will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his wife Karol; children, Cory (Ingrid), Rebecca, Angela, Michael and Rachel; grandchildren, Cory Jr., Chanel and Chaiden; sisters, Ellen (Lou), Fran (Don) and Eileen. He also leaves numerous nieces and nephews, as well as other family and friends. Ken was predeceased by his brothers, John and Robert; and his parents, John and Mary Ellen Muir. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so on the evening of Friday, October 4 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Hainstocks Funeral Home, 9810 - 34 Ave., Edmonton. A memorial service will follow on Sunday, October 6 at 3:00 p.m. at the Ottwell United Church, 6611-93A Ave., Edmonton, with a lunch to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Kens memory be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1200 College Plaza, 8215-112 St., Edmonton, AB T6G 2C8.
