LEONARD M. CHURA Leonard M. Chura, aged 70 years of Teulon, MB. It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of their beloved husband, father and grandfather on October 2, 2002 at the Teulon Hunter Memorial Hospital, with his family at his side. Leonard leaves to mourn his memory his wife Ethel of 47 years; daughters, Sherry (Carl), Karen and Janice; son Wayne (Kim) grandchildren, Nancy, Sabrina, Kyron, Danelle and Laura. Also survived by mother Annie Chura; brothers, Bernie, Henry (Helen), Ken (Donna) and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father Nicholas, sister-in-law Ann Chura. Also survived by his special dog Lassie. Len was born and raised in and around the Winnipeg area. He worked as a sheet metal worker and in air conditioning during his younger years. In 1966, Len and his family purchased a farm in the Plum Ridge area where he lived and worked until his passing. The family wishes to extend their thanks to Drs. Graham and Pillay and staff at the Teulon Hunter Memorial Hospital for their care and kindness. At Lens request cremation has taken place and in accordance with his wishes, there will be no funeral service. If family and friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Teulon in care of arrangements.
