MARY MATILDA TOPP (nee ROBERTSON) Mary passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2002 at the St. Boniface General Hospital at the age of 82. She was predeceased by her husband George Alexander; brothers, Don (1984) and John (1994) and by her parents, Bertha (1987) and Dan (1942). Mary is survived by her loving children, daughter Roberta Christine Topp and son James Barclay Topp; grandchildren, Fred, Denise, Mark, Jamie, Kelly, Tracy and Karyn; and by her sister Florence of Nanimo, BC. She had special thoughts of her sister-in-law, Jean. Mom, Well sadly miss you and never forget you. You were one great mother to us. We love you with all our hearts. You were always there with unfailing kindness in our times of need. You never turned away and always thought of others. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" is how you lived. Everyone knew your strength when it came to you family. We all love you so much. Mary was born in Winnipegosis and worked for the Department of National Defense. She retired in 1979. She was great at buying investment property; it was part of her life. God bless you Mom. All of us truly loved you and your great sense of humour. God took your hand and we had to part, He eased your pain but broke our hearts. If you could have spoken before you died, These are the words you would have replied. This life for me has truly passed, I have loved you all till the very end. Weep not for me but for courage sake and love one another for my sake. Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 7 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment and reception will follow.
