Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEAN WEREMY November 22, 1917 - October 2, 2002 It is with great sorrow that the family announces the sudden passing of our dear sister and aunt at her home at the Kildonan Personal Care Home. Jean was born in Poplar Park on November 22, 1917, the daughter of Klym and Anna Weremy. She was predeceased by her parents Klym and Anna Weremy; brothers, Harry, Bill, and John; and sisters, Mary, Sadie, Polly, Ann, and Kay. Jean leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Sharon, who she held next to her heart every moment of the day, and Sharons husband Udo. Her grandchildren Jennifer and Michael; great-grandchildren, Sabastian and Bentley; dear sisters, Lee, Pearl, Sophie, Evelyn, and Annette; numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 9 at 1:00 p.m. at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. Rev. David Murata officiating. Jean was a strong, fiercely independent woman whose greatest joy was helping others. Her warm selfless compassion for those less fortunate strengthened many souls. Jean spent countless hours volunteering at Knox United church, where she found friendship and fulfilment. When her health unexpectedly turned her life around, she faced her challenges with a silent courage. Jean will be especially missed by her great-niece Janet Duff and her children, who thought the world of her. Their prayers will hold her gently as she rests. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Kildonan Personal Care Home for their excellent care of our Aunt Jean. KNYSH FUNERAL CHAPEL 582-0973
