MICHAEL (MIKE) PAUL KRYWENKO It is with deep sorrow and sadness that the Krywenko family announces the passing of Michael Paul Krywenko on Friday, October 4, 2002, at the age of 68. With his family by his side, Mike peacefully went to his Creator. He will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife Donna of 42 years. He leaves to mourn his sons, David and Kelly and grandson Richard. Mike is also survived by his brother Walter (Mary), sister Olga (George) Dolinuk, sister Katy (Tony) Rogodzinski, and many nephews and nieces, his favourite uncle Peter and many cousins. He was predeceased by his father Mike in 1977 and his mother Mary in 1998. Mike was born in Dallas, MB on his parents farm. At a young age, Mike came to Winnipeg to seek employment and moved to Red Lake, ON to work in the mines. He worked at Elliot Lake, Dickinson, Cat Lake and Campbell. He had many wonderful memories of his five years spent there. When he came back to Winnipeg he contracted polio in August 1958. He was very sick and learned to walk again, despite overwhelming odds. Mike had worked at Richardson Manufacturing from 1959 to 1969. After that Temro employed Mike as a supervisor for 30 years. Mike was always a friendly and outgoing person. He always had a smile for everyone. Even during his final illness, he always found a way to make family and friends feel more comfortable about his illness by using his unique humour.
