ERNIE JANZEN It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Ernie Janzen on Sunday, October 6, 2002 with his family at his side. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Lorraine of 42 years; his children, Brent (Patricia), Bonnie (Michael), Kevin (Kara) and Cheryl; his grandchildren, Jamie, Paul, Cheryl and Hannah. He is survived by his sisters, Mary, Anita (Frank), Hilda (Bill) and brothers, Pete (Elsie), Otto (Bertha), Jake (Helen) and sisters-in-law, Agatha and Carole; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father; mother; brothers, Henry and Eugene. Ernie was born in Grunthal, MB on October 14, 1933. He graduated in 1960 with his C.A. and was in public practice until his death. Ernie was an avid fisherman fulfilling a dream as operating partner of Little Grand Rapids Lodge. Many happy times were enjoyed at the West Hawk Lake cottage with family and friends. Ernie was a kind gentle man who always had time for everyone. He had a great zest for life and loved his family dearly. A celebration of Ernies life will be held on Thursday, October 10 at 1:00 p.m. in the Regents Park United Church, 613 St. Marys Rd. The family thanks the staff at CancerCare Manitoba St. Boniface Unit and B5 at the St. Boniface Hospital for their kind and compassionate care.
