WAYNE FRANCIS SHORT Passed peacefully away at home in St. Johns, NF, surrounded by his loving family on Monday, October 7, 2002 after a two-year battle with cancer. Wayne Francis Short, aged 49 years. Predeceased by his father, Edward in 1991. Leaving to mourn with loving memories are his devoted wife of 25 years, Timmie, son Jeffery (special friend Andrea) of Manitoba and daughter Kathy. Also leaving to mourn are his mother Bernice; brothers, Kevin (Mary Elizabeth) of Ontario, Peter (Elaine) of British Columbia; sisters, Carol (Joe) Wadden, Bernadette (Randy) Rowe; mother-in-law Evelyn Gibbons; brothers-in-law, Brian (Beverley) Gibbons, Sandy (Angela) Gibbons, Gerard (Nancy) Gibbons of Nova Scotia; sister-in-law Shelia (Bob) Power of Ontario. Also left to mourn are many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, along with a large circle of friends. Resting at Cauls Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road, (709) 753-6845, St. Johns, NF on Tuesday, October 8 and Wednesday, October 9 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, October 10 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Patricks Church. Interment to follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
