JIM MOAR It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our husband, father and grandfather on October 7, 2002 at the Grace Hospital. Jim will be sadly missed by his wife of 61 years, Gertrude; his children, Reta (Butch) and Randy (Cathy) grandchildren, Darren (Bev), Cindy (John), Hali, Travis and Tyler; great-grandchildren, Kiera, Brody, Adria, Salem and Remi. Also surviving is his sister Elsie Ross and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Donald and Polly; daughter Ruthie; sisters, Mae, Tina Belle and Barbara; brothers, Dan, Robert, Julius and Jack and grandson Derek. Jim served in the Army Service Corp. from 1941 to 1965. From 1965 to 1976 he worked as a truck driver until his health failed and he then retired from the work force. After retirement his work consisted of chauffeuring his children and grandchildren to their many appointments and activities. Family was very important to Jim. His grandchildren were always foremost in his heart and he spent many happy times with them, leaving many cherished memories. His most enjoyable times were spent outdoors hunting, fishing and camping. The weekly family card games held many laughs and he would play until he started to lose and then he would say, "I cant handle these women any longer, Im going to bed." If he was winning he would play all night and gloat. The family would like to extend their thanks to the wonderful staff at the Grace Hospital for the loving care they gave to Jim. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 13 at 1:00 p.m., at St. Bedes Anglican Church in Kinosota, MB, R0H 0L0. In lieu of flowers, should friends so desire, a donation would be appreciated to St. Bedes Anglican Church in Kinosota or a charity of their choice. Arrangements entrusted: Chapel Lawn Funeral Home Cemetery and Crematorium 885-9715
