BELLE WILSON Moms wish to die at home, in her sleep, came true in the early hours of October 12, 2002. She joins Dad (Herb), her loving husband, who predeceased her. Mom was outgoing and made lifelong friendships. Her many years curling and golfing with "the girls" meant a lot to Mom and she truly missed not being able to golf this past summer. Animals were always important to Mom. Anything injured or abandoned would be "rescued" and many found a permanent home with her. There was always room for the dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs or whatever came along. Minaki was Moms favourite summer retreat. Mom and her mother spent whole summers there when we were young. Dad would always join us on the weekends. More recently, the crowd at Minaki had grown to include spouses and numerous grandchildren and friends. Mom will be remembered forever by her children, Lorrie (Keith), Sue (Rob), Bev (Ken) and Tom (Dennika), as well as all her grandchildren. She also leaves her brother Dode and his family. Moms special friend George will miss her dearly. As per Moms wishes, there was no service and cremation has taken place. If friends so desire, a donation to Moms favourite charity, The Winnipeg Humane Society, may be made or a donation to a charity close to your heart. All of us, including Trixie and Midge, will miss you Mom.
