ALEXANDER CHUCKO Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, Alexander Chucko passed away on October 17, 2002. He is survived by his wife Eleanor, and only son Robert Carver. Rob and his wife Tricia have three children, Madison, Dana and Jack. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, Shirley Chucko, Vera Chucko, and Elsie Schettler; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Alec was born in Winnipeg in 1919. He served in the airforce during the Second World War, and then worked as a machinist at Deer Lodge Hospital until he retired in 1980. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed his time at their cottage at Eleanor Lake. Eleanor and Rob would like to thank the nursing staff at Seven Oaks Hospital, Dr. M.B. MacMillan, and the nursing staff at Maples Personal Care Home for their kindness. As well, our special thanks and gratitude goes out to Audrey Robertson and those special people who helped through our time of need. The service will be held on Monday, October 21 at 10:30 a.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
