Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHENRY CHAMPION WAUGH Henry Champion Waugh "Champ" was born on February 4, 1916 in Winnipeg. He passed away on October 17, 2002 after brief illness at the age of 86 years. Mourning his loss is his loving family. His children, Sarah (Toane) Waugh, Kevin Waugh and Michael Waugh and their families shall miss his much beloved presence in their lives. He will also be greatly missed by his brothers, Harry Waugh and Peter Waugh and their families. Henry was predeceased by his loving wife Elizabeth nee Carson, his daughter Carol Ann Waugh and his son Fraser Champion Waugh. After his service with the R.C.A.F. during the Second World War, he and Elizabeth (a war bride) began to raise a family in Winnipeg. Henry was a highly regarded real-estate appraiser for the S.S. Stevenson Real Estate company until to his retirement. A devoted husband and father, he will be remembered for the wonderful short stories he wrote for his children, his great kindness and unlimited compassion. His children will deeply miss him as a father and in later years, a best friend. He will always remain in our memories and in our hearts. Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 21 at 10:00 a.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapels, 1501 Waverley St. LEATHERDALE GARDINER 1501 Waverley Street 949-4860
