MARY ANDERSON February 18, 1909 - October 14, 2002 Peacefully on Monday, October 14, 2002, our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Mary Anderson (nee Rechek), aged 93 years, passed away at St. Boniface Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Carl in August 1982. Mary will be sadly missed by her three sons, Stan (Anne), Ed (Anna) and Alf (Andy) (Yvonne-Heidy) grandchildren, Bob, Leslie, Jim, Debbie, Shelley, Wendy, Gail, Gwen, Janet, Michael and Charles. She will also be lovingly remembered by her many great-grandchildren as well as numerous cousins, nephews, nieces and friends. Mary worked in the clothing industry for many years, till her retirement and then her family was the center of her life and was her prime joy and interest. She had great strength and determination to live and her gentle sense of humour made her a favourite of all who knew her. The family would like to thank Dr. R. J. Davey and the staff and nurses on the 6th Floor of the St. Boniface Hospital. According to Marys wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 22 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment will be held at Brookside at a later date. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Marys memory to Winnipeg Harvest or a charity of ones choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
