GLADYS DOROTHY LUCAS (YORK) On Wednesday, October 16, 2002 at the Kildonan Personal Care Center, Gladys Lucas, our Mom and Nana, passed away peacefully at the age of 79 years. Gladys was preceded by her husband William and is survived by her grandchildren, David and Claire; son Terry and daughter-in-law Edythe; as well as family and friends in England. Private funeral services will be at Klassen Funeral Chapel. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society, 205 Edmonton St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 1R4. A very special thanks goes to Irene and Edie whose unquestionable friendship and help was always there; to the wonderful home care workers and to the staff at the Kildonan Personal Care Center. Dear Mom, Ive known the warmth of your love and understand your generous sharing. There is a special place inside me that will always remind me of your thoughtful ways, little acts of kindness and special words of faith. So it is with love, sadness and gratitude that I bid the "LAST FAREWELL", knowing I will always have you with me, alongside the warmth and love in everything you did! Love, Terry.
